Locs, Waves and Braids

I had a fantastic opportunity to do a photoshoot with a couple of friends a few months ago.
It was just after the Covid lockdowns in Melbourne had ended and I was eager to get out and about.
We chose to shoot at the Toomuc Creek Trail in Pakenham, Vic as it was close and accessible and also fairly quiet. The scenery wasn't the best that we have shot in, but I'm always happy to shoot in nature. Even the small scraps of nature found in suburbia.
This shoot was also just after I had acquired my Canon M50 so we were taking it out for the first time and having a feel for how it shot.
Believe it or not, this is a mother-daughter duo, and they carried the shoot so well that I felt my own modelling paled in comparison.
The lovely Teazel wore the Lulutress Bohemian Locs in colour 1B.
The gorgeous Nicole wore the Lulutress Micro Box Braids.
I modelled the Lulutress Water Wave. This was actually a crochet wig I made myself using a wig cap and the Water Wave hair. It was a little heavy for the summer weather but it wore well nevertheless.
I hope I will get more chances to get out and model with friends again, or perhaps even direct a shoot myself. I really enjoyed this one. Thank you to Nicole and Teazel for agreeing to be my models :) .
